Florence is AMAZING!!

So we have spent 3 amazing days in the Florence area. Day 1 we explored around the city itself, saw the River Arno, some marketplaces, piazzas, had amazing gelatto, and rented a car that night. Day 2 was rainy so instead of Cinque Terre we drove around Tuscany stopping in a few hillside villages including Siena, Pienza, and Montepulciano, got fruit from a roadside stand and went home. Day 3 was Cinque Terre and it was absolutely incredible!!!! We saw Carrera marble mountains and La Spezia on the way. Cinque Terre is a national park of cliffside villages looking over the Mediterranean. I put my feet in the Mediterranean. It was a gorgeous day! Today is Day 4. We decided to stay an extra day in Florence to go around the city since we have a Tuscan villa to stay in for free anyway. :) Tomorrow morning early we head off for Venice. Gotta run! Love ya!
